Ups & Downs
Ok so the few people I have talked to says that my feelings are normal, but most people wont talk about it or admit it... But I'm telling you I have good days and bad days. And on the bad days it is so hard to do anything, but pump food for the baby, feed the baby, clean up after feeding the baby, put the baby to sleep and decide if I want to eat or sleep. I feel so bad for not answering calls and texts. I do appreciate everyone, and I hope you all know that. But there is one good thing on the bad days. I pick up my little daughter and everything goes away. There is only her sweet little face taking up my thoughts. Fortunately today is a good day. So far LOL Lets hope there are more good days than bad ones and lets hope there are not too many more of the baby blues days at all

Don't worry about hurting my feelings. I definately remember the "bad" days. Being a mommy means having guilt, and sometimes you don't even know what you feel guilty for. It is exhausting one minute and blissfull the next. Sometimes the clock seems to move so slowly and sometimes you wonder where the time went. But one thing is certain...there is always something facing you that is "undone". If you need to put people off for a time, then do it, and if you desire help from those that love and will not judge, then ask and accept it. I can't wait till spring and summer and I look forward all kinds of milestones with Audrey. Let me know how I can help, even if the help you need is just understanding.
ReplyDeleteI can totally relate to the good days and bad days.. but sometimes mine switches moment to moment. I think it has a lot to do with the sleep deprivation and the constant worrying about the little one. It is really hard!
ReplyDeleteHi! I don't know you, but I can say that it is normal to have good days and bad days. We all have those, even if we did not just have a baby! Everyone who knows you should understand that you have to take care of you and your family first! They should understand that you can't always talk, text, post etc. Good luck and hang in there!
